On Friday 2 February in the winter sunshine Brian Asbury holed his tee shot on the fifteenth. Brian didn’t actually see the ball drop. “Where has that gone?” he asked in some perplexity. “It’s in THEHOLE!”
Brian knows the rules. He did the decent thing. We had a convivial half hour over the chips. And with whisky taken drove carefully home and slept for much of the afternoon.

The first week of January saw the retirement of Glenda Parker from the club. She has looked after us Seniors really well over the years and she will be missed. We showed our appreciation by giving her some flowers and M & S voucher, as you can see here.
