Seniors Christmas meal This will be on Friday 15 December with a 6:30 for 7 start. Please note that as soon as the catering staff start serving the tables, the bar will effectively close. Please bring some cash for Ray's raffle. There will also be a written quiz so a pen might be useful. The table allocations and menu choices are here. For the 2023/2024 winter matches on Wednesday and Friday roll-ups, they will be played off the yellow tees. This is to take account of the shorter third hole when we do not go over the bridge. This also means that the sixth is a par 4 stroke index 3. This will also apply to the Crystal knock-out and the pairs league that are both to be played off the yellow tees. The handicap list on the handicap page reflects the different slope rating for the yellow tees. The End of Season trophies list is here.

Captains Charity Raffle. I will supply a bottle of wine each week as a prize and sell tickets at a pound a ticket. I managed to catch some of you by surprise, you had no change. I do not wish to embarrass people by asking individuals to contribute, it is your choice.I hope to place tickets on a table and let you pick tickets and contribute or not as you wish. The Charity I am collecting for is Dementia Support. They have groups in Lutterworth and Rugby. If you would like to know more about their work and how they can support people, have a word with me. I will put out some leaflets that will help. The first raffle raised £27 and was won by Sarb Matharu. I will pass on the bottle next week, hopefully still full.
